Product Planning Table - forward scheduling and entry of planned orders

Hi,

 

we are using the product planning table (PPT) to enter planned orders manually from an external system.

 

The issue we face is that we need to use forward scheduling but the PPT does not support entry of planned orders with forward scheduling, the row "pl ordes..." is greyed out = not ready for input. I was searching on that issue and found out that the reason was the strategy setting = forward scheduling.

 

Now my question is: is it really not possible to enter planned orders with strategy forward?

 

and another question: if there is demand in particular day, e.g. purchase requisition placed on Monday 3.8. and time 12:00, and I enter manually planned order, the system uses this time 12:00 as the required time and schedules backwards the planned order. But we would like the order to be placed from the end day of that day, 23:59:59. What I would have to do to make the sytem not consider the demand on that day. Why, cause the purchase requistions are automatically placed at 12, and once wecreate the pl orders the logistics team will reschedule them for the whole week.

Simulation Version in planning board

Old SubReq is not getting deleted from APO

Hi,

 

 

There is one old sub req in APO which need to cleared. In ECC it is cleared but it is stuck in APO.

 

I tried to delete these using below reports


1./SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER

2./SAPAPO/RLCDELETE

3./SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS

Using this report by providing GUI ID it says 'Order does not exist, no action executed'

 

Using above reports unable to clear the Sub Req with category 'BA' .

 

Can anyone suggest is there any other way to delete the Old Sub req stuck in APO.

I am new to APO, i got a requirement in APO to transfer the "Planned Order Information" from SAP APO to MES(third party System) system using Outbound IDOC while sales order is saved.

 

So, I need

> BAPI to fetch/extract Planned Order Details in APO,

> BASIC IDOC type for Planned Order Details.

 

any information will be helpfull.

MTO - Change sales order - scope of check ignored

Hi All,

 

We are having a scenario where CTP creates planned order against the MTO sales order. PPDS will then reschedule all orders based on certain production planning requirements.

 

Then BOP or executing VA02 is supposed to provide new requirement date based on changed planned order date by PPDS. When we execute VA02 we see that existing planned order /process order is ignored by CTP and it triggeres new planned order creation.

 

We have all relevant ATP categories included in scope of check. Also there is no "receipt recreate" checkbox selected in check instructions.

 

Kindly suggest what might be triggering this incorrect behavior.

 

We are on EHP3 for SCM 7.0.

Options for Scheduling in APO

Hi Gurus,

 

We are facing a challenge while implementing PPDS for a site. The site has upto 3 tiers of BOM starting from Finished Good upto Raw Materials.Users do not like the option of automatic scheduling as they find the results a bit diffcult to understand in the initial phase. We tried using the option of 'show relationship -- pegging relationship' in the Resource Chart in the Planning Board and although it works but it gets too complex because of two reasons:(1) There are several operations inside each order/level

(2) There are upto 3-4 levels of HALB and they need to see capacity overload as well in addition to alignment of Dates from Finished Good to Raw Materials.

 

-- so the entire flow from Finished Good to Raw Materials becomes a criss-cross.

 

 

We tried option of using Pegging/context in the product view after selecting an order and although it can help to align the dates but capacity overload will still remain a problem and they need to open another screen of either Resource Planning Table or Resource Utilization report (/sapapo/cdps_rept) to see the capacity situation. Working with two windows in parallel is not easy and even if they succesfully manage the flow for one FERT order from Top to Raw materials including capacity leveling then also if another order comes which needs those finite resources --then they need to plan the first order again.

 

The questions are :

1. Is there some better way in Planning Board to see the linking of Finished Goods with Intermediates along with dates and capacity?

2. Is there some better option in APO overall for the above situation ?

Issue with Wildcard entry when creating CVC for collective product allocation

Hi Gurus,

 

I have an issue with the wild card entry of CVC generation with collective product allocation.

As per my knowledge the sequence for substituting characteristics is defined in the product allocation group, based on the structure defined the entries will be updated.

 

But in my case the wildcard entries are generating irrespective of structure defined. let me explain in detail:

 

I have maintained in item sequence in allocation group 1.Plant, 3.Product, 5.Sales Org, 7.Customer Group & 9.Customer.

 

The CVC's generated are not at all following the sequence, as below table.

Can some one help me to trace the issue what might be the root cause, an additional information is that this program is been customized with respect to Allocation Management Cockpit tool.

Requirement & Availability dates mismatch: Block plnd resources

Hi Experts,

 

Looking to see if there is a standard way to the below issue -

On the image above, you can see -

  • The last planned order created with an Availability date of 09/05/2015, is our Block Planned resource.
  • The products above this planned order can obviously only be made after it's Available Date/time.
  • Question: Should standard SAP recalculate the date under the Available Date column & reset 'em per the transit time & the planned order duration at each level? i.e. - the one highlighted in YELLOW with an availability date of 09/19/2015 should be reset to 09/05/2015, as its Planned ord duration is only 5 mins (in our case).
  • Justification: When we measure ontime performance, it is measured @ the last but one product level, so it always gets projected as being made ontime while we really make it way early.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi all,

 

for a particular item when i do an availability check its not confirming, the APO screen does not show any values.

 

But in APO Simulation there is no issues.

 

in MD04 when i see the stock is showing less, but when go in to the stock overview it has lot of batch stock. Stock is correct in APO.

but only when i reveiw the initial screen of MD04 dont see the required qty

Issue in Model Mix planning - Existing Planned Orders not sequenced

Dear Experts,

 

We did a R/3 system refresh recently from Production to Quality. Now I need to bring APO and R/3 in sync in quality.

 

We have a very limited scope of APO. We only use Model mix planning and sequencing feature of APO.

 

In APO, I deactivated Sales order and Planned Order integration models before R/3 refresh. Once refresh was done, through CCR I removed all Sales order and Planned Order from APO, then I activated the IMs to transfer Sales orders and Planner Orders to APO.

 

The activation was successful. When I checked RRP3 screen, I could see the data.

 

But when I ran the MMP, these planned orders were not sequenced, and in sequencing screen (SEQ1), no planned orders were displayed.

This means MMP did not consider the existing planned orders that were transferred from R/3.

 

The MMP only created planned orders for those new Sales orders for which planned orders were yet not created.

 

So my question is, is there any setting so that MMP will include the existing planned order for sequencing. I tried planning basis Order oriented but still was not successful.

Pur reqs not created based on demand.

Hi All,

 

we are facing issue with externally procured products in a particular location.

 

The issue is against the sales order deliveries the pur req's are not getting created.The pur req's quantity is changing and they are getting created based on the demand qty.

 

The MRP is a background job and once product into a negative stock this automatically triggers a req being created.


But the Pur reqs are not created enough (ex: if del req is -10 the pru req created is 4 some times 3..)

 

Can anyone suggest why this issue is happening.

Is there any report to show all line items not-ATP’d and also line items ATP’d at zero (or less than order quantity)

Hi Experts,

 

we have requirement for a report  to show all line items not-ATP’d and also line items ATP’d at zero (or less than order quantity) for sales orders.

 

Can any one let me know if we have any report as such in APO or in ECC.

CIF Error: Plant not defined (Please check your input)

Hi Experts,

 

We have two ERP system and one APO system. While creating Purchase requisitions for cross system scenario, we are facing the issue of transferring the purchase requisition to ECC from APO. It gets stuck in the CIF inbound queue with error Plant not defined.

The internal number generated in APO is not getting changed and a new number is not getting generated. It is stuck in CCR as well.

 

 

 

Vendor maintained.

/SAPAPO/LOCALI checked.

Info records integrated.

 

All integration models are in place. We checked Distribution definition and publication as well and everything seems to be place.

Please help if any other settings need to be maintained as well. We are well and truly stuck!

presence of delivery order in ATP Check

Hi Gurus,

 

We are seeing the presence of an unknown order for one of our products in CO09 for #60

This is leading to wrong calculations of 'Confirmed Qty' of #120, when it should be 120=60 = just 60.

So with the current stock of 90 units, +30 should be shown as available ATP Qty.

However it's showing 90-120 = -30 as available ATP Qty.

 

Normally we used to resolve this by running /SAPAPO/AC06, which unfortunately is not working now (its not giving any error when we run it in production systems)

 

I also did CCR for Sales Orders, Stocks but no inconsistencies were found. There are no stuck queues either. Also ran OM17.

 

Pls advise how could we solve this & get rid of this order?

Data not transfered to APO

Hi, All.

 

I have next issue - after activation IM system response that IM successfully activated, but master data (like materials, resources, PDS) do not included to any active IM.

Master data exist in APO after first activation but after check inconsistency system still response that master data not included to active IM.

I checked RFC connection - connection successfully, remote logged to APO system also working.

After CURTO_CREATE PDS transferred to APO.

How can I check why the data are not included in the active model?

Please suggest me the solution of the problem.

 

I would be grateful if you prompt as to solve this problem.

Simulation version in planning board

Hi Friends,

 

As per standard SAP, the simulation versions of planning board will get updated with active version on adopting the active version.

How can we restrict the simulation version from being updated from active version? Any suggestions please

We want to make some simulations for the long term planning in planning board and just to keep it for checking and we don't want to have any updating from active version on the same.

Different operation times on a single phase

Hi Friends,

 

I have maintained classification for a phase in recipe and it has around 5 resources assigned to it.

I believe we can have only one operation timing for the phase.(like setup time, process time etc) for the same phase whatever be the resource assigned out of the 5 from classification.

Is it possible to assign different timings if we work with different resources out of the 5 means how can we put different timings based on the resource selection?

We are getting Deallocated Planned orders when we run the Rescheduling job,Requirement is not to get deallocated planned orders
