Hi,
We are working with Product Allocation and Global ATP. Because the reliability of our incoming ATP elements is close but not exactly 100%, we allow allow CSRs in some agreed scenarios drop a delivery note on the confirmed Material Availability Date and then to future date that delivery to a alter customer agreed delivery slot; so basically to "take" the available/confirmed stock into the delivery yet execute the delivery later than how the confirmed quantities and dates in the sales order schedule line (and initial delivery note dates).
Problem that occurs is following: let's say we future date a delivery with 1 week and at the same time we have sufficient incomings in <1 week, this delivery in gATP gets confirmed against those future incomings and the physical stock gets displayed as available to promise again in our order entry.
Does anyone know if this practice can work ? So future dating the delivery on one hand and keeping the physical stock "unavailable" for new/other requirements at the same time eventhough there are future incomings ?
Thanks - Johan Peeters
