I will use the function module EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 to send by the CIF from ECC to APO some new fields to materials that already exist in the material master, but I have the following questions:
1) Do I have to use also the enhancement APOCF005?
2) When I have to use the enhancement APOCF005?
2) How I should use the enhancement APOCF005?
3) What is the difference between a function module and the enhancement?

We can take resource utilization individually from planning board using evaluations.
But is it possible to see the resource utilization for a set of resources means how the operations are loaded and utilization for a group of resources and to see the highest utilized resource from that.

We have a scenario, where we are creating Multiple Production versions which CIF to APO with Multiple PDS. In multiple PV different work centers & different BOM has been assigned… We want to do Capacity planning for all Source of Supply.
I see only option is to use SAP_REM heuristic…But we don’t want to use this heuristic, as it is having lots of restriction…
I have tried with SAP PP heuristic for creating planned orders, and then doing capacity planning using SAP_DS_02…Enhanced Backward scheduling & SAP_DS_01 Stable Forward Scheduling … But it is still doesn't select the alternative source of supply…
Is there any heuristic, or running multiple sequence of heuristic which can plan on multiple PDS for capacity leveling …..

Below is the issue we realised during the testing. The issue is with First date in the Sales Order which is not updated as per Unloading Point Calendar .
As per details I received, it should refer Unloading Point Calendar for ShiptoParty and populate the next working day as First date into Sales Order.
How is First Date determined in the sales order? Is there any config settings which is based on Route to do this? Or Is it controlled purely based on settings done in Tcode: VOV8, Leadtime days? I do not think VOV8 settings is controlling that in our APO system.
I have checked MAD, Pick/Pack, GI date all are populated correctly, But First Date did not follow the logic Unloading Point Calendar of ShiptoParty.
Please let know your inputs in this regard.

Using BAPi BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_GETLIST wanna extract SNP: Dependant Demand for ATP Categ EL > Requirements / reservations. When I set BAPi parameters with EL I do not get any Requirements returned? I have checke dRRP3 / SDP94- details & defo EL SNP:DepDmd Exist.
When I run with Same parameters at same Logical_system for ATP Categ "FA" shedloads are returned. Can one of the APO legends ou there asist & point in right directionss... Is there a similar / diff BAPi to be used int his instance.

We want to implement the flow "Subcontracting Without Source Location in PP/DS" using Contract or inforecord . It failes since when trying to créate an Order manually in the Product view, I get the opportunity to select either the source "inforecord" or the source "contract"

When I want to create manually the order from /SAPAPO/RRP3 View. I find the possibles sources: either contract or inforecord. But when I adopt one ( whatever the source selected) , I get the message "
Hi Experts, We are trying to run BOP for sales orders where we are doing allocation as first check and then RBATP, its working in sale orders, but in the BOP its not working, i have tried running the BOP with RBATP but without Allocation, its working as it should be, but the moment i activate Allocation too, BOP does not give the desired results.
P.S. I have activated Allocation and reading procedure also in the BOP and in the check instruction the ATP sequence is as per the requirement.
Please provide some inputs here.

Urgent : Need your help We are setting rule based ATP with location substitution(NON drop scenario) along with product allocation.
after doing all the setting product allocation is not happening it is giving confirmation out of its bucket.
whereas if i not use NON drop scenario the things works fine.
Kindly let me know any special setting is need to be done for NON drop scenario ??

I'm working for a client who only want to implement APO GATP, no other functionality. They want to activate ECC Switch Framework SCM_APO_ON_ERP to bring the APO user and customization menu's into ECC and perform all the work in one system.
The business and the basis team here are under the impression that once the above switch is activated along with BC set /SAPAPO/SAP_ON_ERP then GATP functionality will be available without a separate APO system. They use an Oracle database therefore I can't see how this would work but does anyone have any knowledge to share in this area?

In SAP APO PPDS we have the production plan previously set by the company, daily I execute the Heuristic SAP_PP_002 in order to attend new sales orders when the process orders are not sufficient to meet them, in this case the system must generate planned orders.
We have the following case in which we do not receive new sales orders and the system creates new planned orders:

If we execute the heuristic SAP_PP_002 the system generates the following planned order:

We can care the sales order of 200 units for 07.APR.2016with the process order that starts 05/APR/2016
We can not change the date and amount of process orders because it is a plan previously established by the company, only we can create new planned orders
What I can do to make the system does not generate the planned order of 07.APR.2016?
Maybe we have to execute other heuristic, what heuristic we have to execute?

Hi Friends,
When trying to convert PldOrds to PrcOrds, we are facing this error.
720792 has two components insides its BOM, one of which is 410859, which has only 216+180 = 396 stocks currently, out of which it had reserved 216 for the PrcOrds.
Since there is no more stocks available for 410859, it’s not able to convert the PldOrds.... Is this hypothesis correct?
When we peep inside the PrcOrd though, we see an error message too here:
I have read the OSS Note 550441 - FAQ: Exception messages in material requirements planning which says the following:
6. Question: Why does the system not display exception message '40' (Coverage not provided by master plan) anymore since Release 4.6A? Answer: Exception message '40' resulted from the calculation of the ATP quantity in Transaction MD04.The calculation of this ATP quantity is not provided anymore in Transaction MD04 from Release 4.6 since it was not an "actual" ATP quantity as in Transaction CO09, but it was calculated according to a separate logic which did not take into account certain relevant parameters.Branching to the ATP quantities now leads to Transaction CO09 which considers all MRP elements, checking rule and scope of check.This instrument should be used now, here the previous exception message '40' is equivalent to a negative, cumulated ATP quantity.In Transaction MD04 exception messages '10' and '30' from the rescheduling check can also be used to determine receipt elements that are not covered.
But I am unable to understand its relevance and the resolution for our problem.
If somebody, who might have faced similar error message could share their experiences, would be grateful.

Need your help ton below issue
In resource master -> Capacity profile we have maintained the start and end time day wise. No shift and sequence is allocated to resource.
For ex - Monday - Friday- 6am to 15 Pm etc.
Expectation - Ds board should show time 6am to 15 pm as working time remaining time in gray.
But it is not happening in DS , DS board is showing different result than expectation.
Please let me know the other time source which is fetching/impacting by Ds board and showing the result.
